When I was a child, my mother sent me to fetch her sweater from her room. Standing in the corner was a woman who looked like my mother, but wasn't. I quickly grabbed the sweater, returned to my actual mother, and never said a word.

The Other Mother is a cinematic exploration of that unnamed experience.

The film takes place within the psyche, personified by a single room. Safe from a frightening outside world, the room is a personal purgatory where memory and identity collapse. Inside, characters intersect, plot, betray, and kill—acting not as separate people, but as competing facets of a single, fragmented mind. They wear each other’s clothes, step over each other’s corpses, and inherit each other’s sins.

Driven by intuition rather than traditional logic, the film circles a trauma it cannot name. It is a space where the phone rings across dimensions. A surreal noir of the subconscious where the past is never truly dead, and the competing factions of a single identity remain trapped in endless conflict.
